So what should the US focus on if the world is to be a better place for our children? The fight against international terrorism is one area. That means more resources for Afghanistan than for Iraq. The US needs to bring stability to the world stage not war to Iraq. The lack of post-war planning by the US in Iraq shows that we have a long way to go if we are to lead the world into the future.
