This is where I stayed durning my first trip to Bagram, Afghanistan. This is tent 7 and I lived here for a little over a week. At least we had heat in the evenings. I got to test out my new sleeping bag.

Here is a link to an article by Philip H. Gordon, Director, Center on the US & Europe, Foreign Policy Stuidies, titled "Winter in Afghanistan" E!Sharp, March 2006; http://www.brookings.edu/views/op-ed/gordon/20060320.htm that I found interesting and could relate to since I lived in a tent in Afghanistan and had issues with air travel.
